Jessica Biel, an American model and actress of international renown, is one of the most well-known names in the world of Hollywood. Her modeling career began when she was a child. When she was awarded a scholarship at a convention she attended acting lessons within Young Actor's Space. Mary Camden's character drew her into the spotlight in the film 7th Heaven by WB. This role led to her becoming a household name however she was concerned her image as being a "good girl" was going to limit her capacity to act. To break the image she was partially dressed on the cover in Gear magazine. Jessica's followers were outraged over this act. She left the television series 7th Heaven after performing in its sixth season. The movie Ulee's Gold and her outstanding performance as a teenage Casey Jackson brought instant fame to her. The film even awarded her the title of best supporting young actress award for this film. Summer Catch is a great example of her talent. Despite her brilliant performance, Rules of Attraction was not a big hit. The film that was a horror The Texas Chainshaw Massacre brought her to the attention by the media. The suspense films she has acted in has proved her a serious actor.
