Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney June. 6 53) was an American film actress. She is best known for her character of Lieutenant Sheba in her role in the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). She is a daughter of actress June Lockhart. Her grandfather was an actor Gene Lockhart. The professional life of Lockhart began young. She played her first part at the age of four in T is for Tumbleweed. Carpenter claims that Anne turned down his offer to play Laurie Strode. Anne doesn't remember John Carpenter contacting her or offer the part. The possibility is that her agent turned it down without informing Anne. Glen Larson initially selected her for the role of Battlestar Galactica in 1978. He sent a rough script. In the beginning, she didn't like the part because it was too weak. Glen then wrote a script to her, which featured the strong character Sheba. The Living Legend was accepted following her reading of the original 25-page script. The show ran for only one season. The show was cancelled after one season. Joyride (1977) which was a movie which she co-starred and was in the film alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
