Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota is a journalist writer, author and anchor of CNN's morning program "New Day." She lives in Westport, CT, and was elected to Westport Country Playhouse's board of trustees. Camerota's thirty years in journalism have led to her covering news across the nation and abroad. She has won the Edward R. Murrow Award and an Emmy Award. The board also has changes, Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford is named an Honorary Trustee after having served on the board since 2007 Anna Czekaj-Farber from Westport is elected board chair after having been since the beginning of 2013 on the board. Czekaj Farber replaces Barbara Streicker from Westport who held the position of chairperson in the previous year. She continued in that position since 2006.
