Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, passed away on the 19th of January, 2008. She was an American film, television and voice actress. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and she appeared in films in the 1950s and later. She later appeared in notable films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 to 1978, Pleshette was a regular guest on various television productions. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette, a daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1] and Eugene Pleshette, was born January 31, 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer, and choreographer who worked under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager at the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, as well as the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
