Alison Krauss

The first surge of international fame was experienced by bluegrass musician Alison Krauss in 1990 when at just 19, she took home from the Grammy Awards with the trophy for Best Bluegrass Album. The third album of Krauss, I've Got That Old Feeling earned her the award despite the fact she was 19 years older. Too Late to Cry was her first album, released around age 16. Champaign Illinois local's age, 16. Her contract was already in place to Rounder Records, one of the best folk labels when she was just 14. Krauss was always renowned for her incredible virtuosity as well as her achievements when she was just a few years old. She is a fervent supporter of bluegrass music which is among the oldest and least appreciated genres of the American tradition, is also an ongoing thing.
